"一带一路"是"丝绸之路经济带"和"21世纪海上丝绸之路"的简称。2013年9月和10月，中国国家主席习近平出访中亚和东南亚时，分别提出了与相关国家共同建设"新丝绸之路经济带"和"21世纪海上丝绸之路"的倡议。该倡议以实现"政策沟通、设施联通、贸易畅通、资金融通、民心相通"为主要内容。

The Belt and Road Initiative refers to the 

proposal to build a Silk Road Economic Belt and a 21st Century Maritime Silk 

Road. During his visits to Central and Southeast Asia in September and October 

2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping unveiled the initiatives of building the Silk 

Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road in cooperation with 

related countries, and laid out policy coordination, facilities connectivity, 

unimpeded trade, financial integration, and people-to-people bonds as the five 

major goals.

 

 

"两个一百年"奋斗目标，将中国梦的宏伟蓝图和光明前景具体化。实现"两个一百年"奋斗目标是实现中国梦的基础。该奋斗目标是，到2021年中国共产党成立一百年时全面建成小康社会，国内生产总值和城乡居民人均收入比2010年翻一番；到2049年中华人民共和国成立一百年时建成富强民主文明和谐的社会主义现代化国家，达到中等发达国家水平。

The Two Centenary Goals are specific prospects of the Chinese Dream and achieving them will serve as the basis for realizing the Chinese Dream. These goals are to complete the building of a comprehensively moderate prosperous society and double China's 2010 GDP and per capital income for both urban and rural residents by the time the CPC celebrates its centenary in 2021; and to build China into a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced,and harmonious and reach the level of moderately developed countries by the time the People's Republic of China celebrates its centenary in 2049.

 

 

The "Three Areas of Confidence" refers to confidence in the path, theories and system of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

"三严三实"是习近平对各级领导干部改进作风提出的要求，即严以修身、严以用权、严以律己，谋事要实、创业要实、做人要实。

"Three Stricts and Three Earnests" are requirements Xi Jinping proposed for officials at all levels to improve their conduct. The requirements are to be strict in self-development, the exercise of power, and self-discipline, and to be earnest in making plans, opening up new undertakings, and upholding personal integrity.

"三个代表"重要思想：中国共产党必须始终代表中国先进生产力的发展要求，代表中国先进文化的前进方向，代表中国最广大人民的根本利益。

The important thought of Three Represents:  The essence of Three Represents is that the CPC must always represent the development trend of China's advanced productive forces, the orientation of China's advanced culture and the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people.

 

 

当前中国共产党党内作风问题集中表现在形式主义、官僚主义、享乐主义和奢靡之风这"四风"上。这"四风"是违背中国共产党的性质和宗旨的，是当前群众深恶痛绝、反映最强烈的问题，也是损害党群干群关系的重要根源。

Currently, the CPC faces "four forms of decadence" in its ranks – formalism, bureaucratism, hedonism, and extravagance. These run counter to the nature and mission of the CPC and generate most resentment and complaints from the public. They are also a major cause of damage to relations between the CPC and the people and between officials and the general public.

 

2014年12月，习近平在江苏省调研时，首次明确提出了"四个全面"战略布局，即全面建成小康社会、全面深化改革、全面依法治国、全面从严治党。

The strategy of "Four Comprehensives"/"Four-Pronged Comprehensive Strategy" was first put forth by Xi Jinping during an inspection tour of Jiangsu Province in December 2014. The strategy consists of: comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society, comprehensively driving reform to a deeperl evel, comprehensively governing the country in accordance with the law, and comprehensively enforcing strict Party discipline.

In 1954, China, India and Myanmar jointly proposed the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, namely, mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, mutual non-aggression, non-interference in each other’s internal affairs, equality and mutual benefit, and peaceful coexistence. This was a major initiative in the history of international relations and a historic contribution to the building of a new type of just and equitable international relations.
